hi!

Dear Cate,

We are so happy you're here!  Even though you were 2 days fashionably late, your timing could not have been better.

Things I tried to induce labor:
Eating a lot
Eating spicy food
Watching Twilight
Zumba
etc.

What actually worked to induce labor:
Watching Duck Dynasty and rubbing lavender oil on my feet

12/6/12
6:30 PM  Dinner with Nana and Papa; Olivia asks if she can go to their house, and they say Yes!
     (Duck Dynasty)
10 PM     Rub lavender oil on feet
10:30       Mommy's water breaks (sort of)
10:40       Grandma and Grandpa are 100 miles out yet--so happy Olivia is with Nana and Papa
10:45       Mommy curls hair, in case pictures will be taken
(Stalling until midnight so we could maximize our hospital stay)

12/7/12
Midnight Hospital registration
2 AM      Contractions fast, strong
2:01 AM Nurse is asking mommy stupid registration questions still
3-ish        Fentanyl
3:30 AM  Epidural FINALLY arrives, sedated mommy tells anesthesiologist he's a hero
   (More labor stuff)
4:45 AM  Push, push, push
5:26 AM Cate!

Cate Ivy Vigneron
7 pounds 8 ounces
21 inches

Good thing mommy curled her hair for that;)

Our friend and babysitter, Holly, had her baby, Riggs, the day before you.

 Meet your new relatives!

 Papa
 Grandma
 Grandpa
 Aunt Chelsea
 Great-aunt Julie
Aunt Amber
"Aunt" Stuber
 Daddy
 Mommy

And you have way more relatives and friends to meet.
So excited to share our days together!
Love,
Mom
